These are some of the carvings I am working on while visiting the girlfriend in North Carolina. I am dont carving the little swan, and I need to apply a finish, which will be an interesting experiment. I hope these attachments work.

those look great, not sure how long you will be in n.c or where you are located but there will be a one day show in hickory at the end of the month.

Are these miniatures? I think they're all adorable, especially the rabbit!

The rabbit is actually from a cutout I bought from Wood Carvers Supply. The other two are the first carvings I did myself. The rabbit and swan are about 4.5 inches and the flower is around 7 inches.

Those are looking very nice! I was wondering about the wood you used, too. It sure looks pretty.

They are butternut. I picked up some Deft clear spray and some sanding sealer which I intend to use once I get enough motivation to play with flammable sprays.
