Default Some carvings of mine

Hi, here's what I have been doing this spring. Got me a tennis elbow so I'll have to take it easy for some time. If you cannot open the pdf and want to see the pictures, leave a reply here, and I'll post them as jpg.

Hello Henri,

All of your carving are wonderful. The lines are clean and the finish very smooth. I especially like the mask. Very nice design.

Thanks all for encouraging comments!

RonT - the finishes aren't actually as smooth as they seem in these general picures. Especially the mask is straight from the chisel, and I'm afraid I'm not yet skillful enough to make it as nice as I would like to: for lack of experience I had to use smaller tools than I would have liked on the convex surfaces. But once the arm gets better I'll show myself who is who!

Doris - I like the teeth pretty much myself. I'm actually a very peaceful guy so it's probably healthy to make some snarling icons like that every once in a while.

Very nice Hruukki, going to have to try Danish oil too, everyone seems to prefer it.
