Default Some Bottlestoppers
Here are some bottlestoppers I've just finished. The Christmas Tree is one of those carvings that popped up as an idea just to see if I could do it. The greenman was carving with grape leaves for a friend. The next three were all carved because my wife has been buying these small antique medicine bottles, so I've been carving bottlestoppers for them. The coin leaning against the bottle is a quarter, for size comparison, and the bird is supposed to be a Bluebird.

They are incredibly cute, so tiny. Sorry to ask a newbie question, but how do you fix the cork to the wood so it is strong enough a join to pull on? If its not a trade secret :-]

I just glue the cork to the dowel with Elmer's carpenters glue.
