| | Snapping turtle hiding in there Been down for a few weeks but back to carving again. First piece I looked at had a snapping turtle trying to get out, so here it comes. I'll post the finished turtle in a couple of days, hopefully.

| | Re: Snapping turtle hiding in there Forrest, its a piece of black walnut burl and about as hard as my head. I'll probably have him done either later today or tomorrow. I love looking at a piece of wood and seeing something looking back. Wife thinks I'm a little out of it, because I see things in wood, but if I look long enough I usually find something hiding in there waiting for me to carve them out. Have a great day, Dan |
