Default Sleipnir

A scrollsaw project I did a little while ago made from maple. It stands about 5',8" from ear to ground.

I like that. You've got the whole idea right. Odin himself would admire that work. Keep us updated.

Hey Fenris,
Any chance I can get you to upload those photos as attachments here on the message board? When I try to go to that site, I only get the header loaded before Firefox crashes...

Best Regards,

Great carving! How did you do something that large on a 'scroll saw'...if you did it in pieces, it certainly doesn't look like it...very, very nice workmanship...inlaid with 'copper'??? Thanks for sharing it with us!

Hi, thanks again.
Sorry I will try and find another way to display the images as I'm not a big fan of tinypic. Yes I did do this in peices and even still it was a bit of a challenge due to the size of some of the parts, but I learned quick that "slow" is my friend.
The copper parts light up like fire in the morning sun

We've got a photo gallery attached right to the message board (click on Photo Gallery in the left column). It's totally ad-free <GRIN>
