Default Shrews!

Man, I love "recarving" old carvings and finding that I've much improved. Like these shrews. I'm a hopeless fantasy lover, especially talking animals, so that's why they're wearing clothes. NEXT one I'm going to pay a LOT more attention to his haunches, since they're almost nonexistant.

Those are pretty shrewd carvings. Just thought I would throw that in before Hiho thought of it. Pretty nice carvings. Have you ever carved a hydrax?

Ah, should've known there'd be a shrewy joke. Heheh.

Anyway, thanks for the comments, and thus far no hyrax carving. I'm going to be a bit busy carving some more old carvings. Should be fun.

Actually I like your idea. My avatar was a carving contest peice I did with our club. It was kind of a hurried up peice and I don't have it anymore. I'll bet I could do a better job the second time. Good idea!

The new shrew is just three inches, while the old one is three inches and a half. Glad you like them.

Great little guys....reminds me of "Winds in The Willow".... I think that's what it's called. Well done, thinking well outside the box!!!
