| | Ship model progress Finally returned to work on the ship model. Started out small......carved work on the stern and bow of the Marco Polo. Small stuff to hold, one slip while power carving and it's off across the room never to be seen again. Turned out well though. Working on the bow figurehead now.

| | Re: Ship model progress Wow Bob what fabulous detail that is absolutly amazing. Cant wait to see the bow figurehead. I have been approached to carve a figurehead for a boat just not sure how I am going to go about it. I will look on in interest to your model.

| | Re: Ship model progress Fantastic Job Bob, if you will pardon the pun. Magnificent detail. Colin I have books on carving a figure head for a ship, if you do a search, there easy to find. I had a commission to carve a figure head, but after looking the bulk of the thing over, I decided against it. My old frame just wont work that way any more. |

| | Re: Ship model progress Bob, I always find myself struggling to find just the right words to compliment you on your work. I guess the best word would be 'Excellent as always'. Your attention to detail is just outstanding.
