 Re: Shepards Crook Chuck Yes I had to drill across the grain and put in a threaded rod 1/4" and then pluged it, also where the handle and staff are joined I also put in a threaded rod for support. I think they are fairly strong as long as you don't use them for a club. Thanks for the coments. Bill  |
