| | Sea Turtle, Maple Burl I finally got it done!!!!!!
It is about 10"H, 12"W and 15"L
I finished it with Watco oil.

I did use power, but I also had Cape Forge custom make chisels with longer shafts so that I could reach under the Turtle.

This piece took about 200 hrs.
The size of the burl is about 10"H 12"W and 16"L.
