| | Santas Heading for Texas Thought some of you might like to see 3 of the Santas I'm taking to my 50th Class Reunion next month in West Texas.
The ladies in my class gave me strict orders to "bring Santas!"
Since I come from cotton country, I had to do something with a cotton bale. The old world Santa and the Stuck Santa have been done many times before in various ways. I also have another Cotton choppin' Santa in progress. He will be holding a hoe. I envison the caption as being "Cotton Choppin' Santa...Ho!
Ho! Ho!.
As usual comments and suggestions appreciated.
ED
Oh, by the way, this is the first time I've set up lighting and tried to do it Lynn's way. |

| | Re: Santas Heading for Texas Ed you really know how to please the ladies and course it's good to know that your ideas are original and pop out of head from what you actually seen. The Santa on the bale of cotton is what I mean. Great carvings keep up the good work.

| | Re: Santas Heading for Texas Thanks one and all for the comments . I've set up a surprise for the ladies in the class including the spouses of the guys. At our dinner, scheduled for a Saturday night... each lady will receive a carved pepper. I have been carving chili peppers with stupid, silly faces for the last several weeks. They are easy to carve and give great practice for creating faces and expressions. They also make neat Christmas ornaments. You can make them red, yellow or green. Another fun project.
