Default Santa ornament

here is a Santa ornament I am working on...I probably won't do him again until I can get something a bit better to take more wood off quicker..It took about 5 hours of work for me to get the cone shape...

Still enjoying it though..hopefully I will be done with him today!!

You look like you are well on your way. I carved a few from that pattern last year and really enjoyed them.

yep sure did got him finished today and paint on...still might do a little more painting here tomarrow. and is another progress pic. I am happy with him..But as I said about it took me so long just to get it to the cone shape. I don't think I will do another till I can get a bigger gouge or something.
