Red face Santa bark carving

Hi.

I carved this Santa in cottonwood bark yesterday. It's my second attempt at carving bark. I used an acrylic wash and then Deft semi-gloss spray. Also, I'm practising on trying to attach thumb nail pictures below this post. If it doesn't work I did manage to put it in the Carver Galleries (Holiday). Thanks,

Chipper67

Yeper Chipper, You done good on your bark. Love the way the beard flows and the use of the bark outlining the beard. Job well done. Waiting on your next bark carving.

Chipper 67, great job on your bark Santa! Isn't bark something else to work with?!! It's a bit tricky and takes a little getting used to, but it's so worth it!! You've done a fine job!! Thanks for sharing with us! Deborah
