Default Salmon Eagle Door new photos

I've finished the carving on the center panel of the door. Now I'm working on the 3D eagle that will be perching on a branch above this scene. Here are some new photos of the finished carving of the panel without the finish.

This carving is the center door panel of a carved entry system. It will be installed in a stile and rail frame. The finished entry will have carved wood and carved glass sidelights on either side. The door will also have glass above this carving as well as a large three dimensional eagle on a branch.

This is coming along very nice Ron, I love how you defined the waves above the water. Be sure to post when finished.

Looks great, Ron.
I know the water looks cold and deep but,
how deep is the relief cut?

The relief on the water is about 3/8". The relief on the fish is about 1 3/4"

Beautiful job all around. Love the way you've captured the water and the transition to below the surface.

Wow! What a piece! The rippling water and the spruce trees are delightful. Thanks for sharing with us.
