| | Rocky Mountain Wrangler Here's the latest. I had hoped to get him painted before the Dayton show but....... Anway, there are lots of other chances for him to get some exposure coming up.
He's mounted on a piece of the Rocky Mountains my wife and I picked up while traveling through the Rocky Mountain National Park in September. The rock and the wood base might look pretty large compared to the figure but then the Rocky Mountains are pretty large so I guess it balances out. More photos after the jump to my Blog. |

| | Re: Rocky Mountain Wrangler The rock and the base are perfectly suited in terms of size and intent. The burned-in detailing is spot-on. I like the use of the "props": lasso, cig', and bit and reins.
The hair across the brow and eye is a great feature. This cow hand needs to visit the barber on his next trip to town. Great work! |

| | Re: Rocky Mountain Wrangler Great piece Lynn, the rope being squeezed under the armpit is going to be the capturing alot of eye movement when viewing this whole piece, great details as always, rock is perfect for the mount. Bill |

| | Re: Rocky Mountain Wrangler Great work Lynn. When ever I see one of your pieces I enjoy thinking...."Now what's that guy (the cowboy in this case) thinking?" That in itself is an indicator to me that you have achieved the objective in your work....when it generates thoughts.......telling or beginning a story!
Great work Lynn, it is truly a pleasure seeing them. Thank you for sharing them with us.
