Default Recent Spoon

Hadn't posted a spoon in a while, so I thought I'd post one I recently finished. It's about 12" long, of walnut. Critique welcome!

I really like the Celtic braids that have 4 sides to them. I can't tell to good from the pic, does your spoon have that or is the braid round? Either way, it is really nice looking in walnut.

Brent, if you mean the cross-section of each individual "rope", this one happens to be squared. Here's a picture where you can see better...

That's certainly one of the prettiest Love Spoons I've ever seen! You did an amazing job on carving it and I really like the crisp, clean details... Again, nice job, very nice indeed! Thanks for sharing it with us...

Nice spoon, Laura! I think the square cross-section is a great idea. Did you use a saw to cut out the open areas?
