| I love the look of polished Manzanita Roots but it's hard to find just the right piece for a porject. This pipe holder was carved from a medium size Manzanita Root and the cracks and voids were filled with Inlace (the liquid inlay). I broke the root apart and used the large piece for the bowl and made a few bottle stoppers out of the finger size pieces. The Pipe was carved last year out of briar and fitted with one of my old Peterson tips. Bill ^v^ |

| Thanks guys, whitecree, the pipe has a face that only the bad boy from munchkin land could love..lol, that block was my first experience with a really hard wood. The root was tricky, it has really hard spots and some brittle and soft spots too, but worth the effort. Bill ^v^ |
