Default Pipe Holder

I love the look of polished Manzanita Roots but it's hard to find just the right piece for a porject.

This pipe holder was carved from a medium size Manzanita Root and the cracks and voids were filled with Inlace (the liquid inlay).

I broke the root apart and used the large piece for the bowl and made a few bottle stoppers out of the finger size pieces.

The Pipe was carved last year out of briar and fitted with one of my old Peterson tips.

Thanks guys,

whitecree, the pipe has a face that only the bad boy from munchkin land could love..lol,
that block was my first experience with a really hard wood.

The root was tricky, it has really hard spots and some brittle and soft spots too, but worth the effort.
