Default Pete LeClair's in the house

Won't be on the site much this weekend,as Wood-whittler,and I are in a Pete LeClair seminar in Columbia,SC.We are doing a caricature from the corner of a block.Will have some pictures to post at the end of the weekend.

Sounds like a ton of fun down there in Columbia! You and Bart had better not get Pete into any trouble! Sure would like to take one of his classes. The class at Smokey Mountain is full this year. May catch him at Dollywood.

I would love most to learn his methods of the wonderful faces he dose.
not to take away from the rest of his carving.

well i just got home from 2 great days with pete leclair. as always his classes are superb. you can learn so much in them that you almost need to take a tape recorder and play it back so you can retain it all.

it was a great weekend, if you have never taken from pete and you get the chance you should jump at it. you will not be disappointed.

Woooow,what else can I say,fantastic class.Enclosed is a picture of the project,and the some of the finished projects.Please ignore the bottle in the middle thats some homemade wine,made painting class interesting.

I agree with Bart, you need a tape recorder, (maybe video would be better) to even start to retain all his info. He's a classic act, attend his class if you can! I've been in 2 of his classes and will try to get another as soon as I can.
