Default Panel update

Tonite I finished the leaves on the border! WHEW the things I get myself into. I took 2 pics so you can see what I did.
I'll remove the center wood and start getting ready for working on the deer. Once I get the rest of the pattern in then I'll be going deeper and doing more detailing of the leaves. Yeah,,,those darn leaves again!

Beautifully done Krum! The leaves are nicely defined, undercut and will frame the center beautifully. Thank you for the WIP pics, I love watching a piece come alive!

Your panel is looking great!

I hope you keep posting pic’s of your progress. I’ve never done relief carving on a panel like this so it's interesting watching yours take shape.

I like having a picture trail of a project to look back on, it’s fun to look back at where and how a project came together. Sometimes I’m amazed that I even did that looking back at the progress…or even where I went wrong.

Anyway nice job so far can’t wait to follow along.

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.

I'll keep posting as I go. Thanks for asking too. Gkids came over this morning so there went that carving time. Oh well fun to have the twins here and play with them. I work 4 on and have 4 off from my job. I carve all day and into the morning when I work on something. I'll posts more pics when I am further with the panel. Thanks all for the comments and taking the time to look.
