Here's a Old World Santa I just finished,thanks Vicki for the little Cardinal,I got the pattern in a past WCI.Hope ya'll enjoy it.

Hey Mark,
Wow! What a nice everything on the Santa (carving, finish, display). You been doing gooder and gooder ;O). Guess I won't be sending any Santas to WCI contest. OK, maybe one ;O)). Your work just keeps getting better and better. Thanks for sharing and I am looking forwad to the next one!

Mark, once again you did good on your carving, painting and creativity. With the cardinal in Santa's hand, it reminds me of the adaption of an old saying "A bird in the hand ... is mighty messy." Keep up the good work.

That's a fine looking Santa. Definitely has the "old" look which I like. The little cardinal is a nice touch.
