Default ok...gonna fudge through it :D

Good Morning! I am working on a new spoooooon! Actually quite excited about it. Drew it by myself, and will be putting it in an up and coming silent auction. It's on a 14" piece of cherry. The Cherry has a lovely knot on the side and it has given the board some really great flecks...directly across the petal. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

very pretty design, Keoma.

I am looking forward to see it as you go through the process.

I've worked a little in cherry and found it a very hard wood and found myself sharpening often. Fery beautiful when done and will allow wonderful detail.
Do you have any tips to make carving it any easier?

Thanks for sharing,
Doug
