Default Oh look, another twistie..........

I cut a few staffs over a year ago, this is one of them.
The bark is very "stuck" so i have removed the vine from the cut on the 'heavy' part and then blended the cut outward so only the pressure mark at the top has bark, this then flows up to the thumstick part where one is bark on and one bark off. The lower part is de-barked. I have a thought or two about carving the lower section.................... anyway on to a thousand words painted for you OR PICTURES!

For the Technical bit..............Hazel? 62" tall 3" thick at it's widest point. When held at the bend, with your thumb on the "thumb spot", she hangs with her tip under you hand and feels 'balanced'.

Thanks for looking,
Druid

Thanks for indulging me, I can yap on for hours but can't explain the concepts in my head. I have to just 'do it' and let it evolve as it wants.
