Default The Nose Knows!

Isn't it amazing what you can do with a couple of pieces of scrap wood? These guys are a combination of ideas from Allen Goodman's Shelf Elf and the Shelf Elf from Darkwood Woodcarving. They range in size from 1-1/2" - 2" x 4" -6" x 2". They're painted with acrylics and finished with waterbased matte polyurethane. Come to think of it a couple of the noses do look familiar! Inka Dinka Doo!

Your imagination and sense of humor tickle me! All that's missing is a handkerchief. They look like they would be fun to carve. Adorable!

Those are great! Your bearded guys remind me of the "shelf peeker" (Minnesota Wood Carvers) that I plan to make after I finish up all these tree ornaments I've committed to.

Good ones Eddy. I agree with Joy, Like the green one the best but they all are nice.

Jim, The peekers reminded me of my teenage years and we use to paint Kilroy on everything and that was what he looked like. Well, I do remember my teenage years and somethings I wish I hadn't.
