Will look forward to progress updates. ![004[1]1](http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/images/smilies/004[1]1.gif) New Year,

Hi Kathy,
Actually the wart hog was a request from my sister-in-law, otherwise I may not have ever thought of it. I do like doing the "out of ordinary" animals though. I think there are enough wolves, bears, etc. out there. I do have a Ringtailed Lemur cut out and a bat that I keep putting on hold. Love your horse portrait, all your painting are great. Someday I will carve a horse, I think I keep putting that aside since horses is what I REALLY know . . .so I think deep down I am afraid I might quit carving if I couldn't do a horse well

Don't take this personal, but that Wart Hog is going to be one ugly dude. Seriously, I'm sure you'll do a good job and it will look like it's suppose to look.(Ugly) Enough already! Have fun carving it.

| | Re: Next project Nancy, I'll watch this one with great interest. A WART HOG, now that's a new one, what a blast that should be to do! I'm really looking forward to your progress on it. I have to carve Santa riding on a big, old hog for my brother this year.
He loves Harley motorcycles and wanted Santa on a Harley. I mentioned it on here and someone jokingly suggested a real hog, instead of a motorcycle. I teased my brother about it and he loved the idea. Me too, carving a big, old hog sure sounds like more fun than a motorcycle.....like I said, I'll be watching your progress on your wart hog with a GREAT deal of interest!! Deborah |
