| | Re: New walking cane Dave, I've picked up some nice pieces of mahogany from Pallets. Lots of stores will let you look the pallets over, and pick out the ones you want. The runners on these mahogany pallets are often 3x3. Apparently mahogany in some countries is a common wood, and not particularly valuable. The ones that I found were good to work with.
That is a very nice walking stick, well done!!

| | Re: New walking cane A very nice cane. If you have any Jajanese motorcycle dealers near you, check with them about pallets that their bikes are shipped on. The Honda bikes that were built in Japan used to come on mahogany pallets.
