A New Santa Ornament

Here's a new Santa ornament I have carved this weekend,haven't had a lot of carving time in the last months,been tied up with executor chores.Hope to get back on the stick in a few weeks.

Great lookin Christmas Ornament Mark. Is it flat on the back, or all the way "in the round". Did you carve it on the "corner"?

I took a 3"x3" block and split down the middle and ended up with 2 -triangle shapes and then carved it on the corner.So it is flat on the back.

Yup, Dave be right, An outstanding ornament! Facial carving sets it off. Really like it and the way you carved the eyes.

Really beautiful job, Mark. I love the facial features. Do you have a tree covered with these at Christmas? Great piece of work.

Mark, real nice carving on the santa ornament. Your work keeps on getting better and better. BTW, you heading out to Davenpost, IA?. I'll be there the 21st to the 23rd, hope you can make it!
