| | Re: New Relief Project It's hard to see detail in some photos that are uploaded, usually it's because they are too dark, I often download them and lighten them up just to see what the heck it's a picture of. .
With Dylan's first pic of the carving something didn't look right until I saw his actual photo, then I realized what was happening at the roof line, his carving had caught the way the wall slopes out to the underside of the roof.
BTW I guess earlier I should have said vertical side wall at the entrance which slopes out to provide more over hang at the entrance . .

| | Re: New Relief Project Gord, you're right in that it is a gable roof.
Susan, Sometimes a picture alone isn't enough, I guess that this was one of them. I appreciate your concern and questions. It shows that your watching closely. And that I'm not explaining things very well. Hopefully today's progress picture will make things clear.

Your natural ability is already showing through on this one as well.
Great composition and theme. Very cool to watch it come to life.

Bob, thank you. I'm glad that you and Thor, and everyone else have been watching. It makes it more fun for me. This time the credit for the composition goes to the picture taker, (I think it was my grandmother.) But it was a job making a pattren.
