| | New Mill Relief Hi everyone I thought I would show what I am now working on. It is another mill carving from Lora (Susan) Irish's book landscapes in relief. I had a friend lay out the basics and describe the picture for me. I did also attempt to do some woodburning on this one. That was an adventure in itself. Like I told Susan this morning I kept setting my stylus on fire so it slowed me down some. If you would like to see what it is supposed to look like it is on page 68 of her book. My friend suggested that I need to shadow the tree on the left some more he said it looked to him like it was growing on the roof. What do you think he is not a carver. By the way Katy isn't here to help me her daughter had her baby and I guess I am not as cute as he is so I am taking a back seat for awhile. Let me know what you think I need to do. I value all of your opinions. Thanks for looking.

| | Re: New Mill Relief It is a beautiful scene. I agree with your friend...the bottom of the left tree needs to be separated from the roof of the building. |
