Default New Job,,hairstylist

Yes.. now I'm opening a hair salon,,, if you don't mind me carving your hair that is. Today I carved Eves hair for the Tryptich. Nothing over the top,, just all on top..of her head that is,, and shoulders etc....
OK,, I'll stop now. Check out her new look on the blog.

Wish I had Doris here,, look at the work she's done with hair,,,Hey,, I'm a guy,, it's not my thing..but Eve looks better than she did. I hope.

Gee,,thanks everyone. I've awakened the Vidal Sasson in me. My new cards will read,, Woodworking Studio/ Hair salon.

Butterfingers,, my wife has her teachers and managers license.. she walked into my studio last night and I asked her if she wanted to do Eve's hair for me...she passed on the offer. She didn't think her scissors would "cut it"..

Just studying that hair is almost like a tutorial. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks.
And no,, this isn't a tutorial in the strict sense.. I'm not including moment by moment shots but a general overall progression of a work in progress.

But if you find looking at something like this useful,, then it's worth it. It also means you are seeing beyond a mere step by step,,monkey see monkey do, use this chisel to make this cut process. That's GREAT!

Imagination is the best instructor. Anything else is only a recipe.

Sort of " feed a man a fish,,,,"
But spark his imagination so he can "see" possibilities,, then watch him set the world on fire.
