| | A new dragon on the bench. Having a go at a new dragon, will probably place it on a pedistal, but we'll see as it shapes up. Rough beginnings so far, just the basic shape. Going for some fluid motion in this beaste, thus the shape. Going to try wings on this one and who knows what else! The wood is Butternut. Not using a design on this one, just out of my head ...... (in more ways than one)!!! LOL
Suggestions always appreciated!

Nice job Bob, wings too!
Are you going to add a body, legs and tail?

| | Re: A new dragon on the bench. Bob, That one's already a winner! When I first looked at it, I thought wow! Bob's doing a viking ship. Don't care what's it's for, it's a great looking piece.

| | Re: A new dragon on the bench. Hi Bob.
Love how you've done the beastie's horns. Are you going to put teeth in the same way? How 'bout eyes as well?
Coming along great - can't wait to see updates!

I liked the first set of pictures a lot. Then I saw the second set and that thing is awesome. What are the horns made out of? Is it ok if I copy this design to try and carve later? |

| | Re: A new dragon on the bench. WOW! This thing is amazing!! I can't wait to follow along as it progresses. I love the way the horns look! How did you attach them, if I may ask? I'm a dragon nut and if I could carve them, I do believe that is all I would do. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
