Default new carving in the works

I started this up friday after I got a few pieces of butternut to take to the show. I never carved butternut, but it seems pretty nice to carve other then some fuzzies here and there.

Really good nose and brow area! They work really well off of that corner. The wood sure has a pretty grain to it.

I bet the piece will take a natural finish very nicely. Please show us some pics when you are complete.
