| | Re: Native Carving Yes,,I agree,,that is a very nicely done piece. You have captured a uniqueness that really separates it and allows it to stand out. It doesn't have the feeling of being a copy of something else,,it draws on life itself without being the typical represenation. The eyes,mouth,nose,,the whole composition still speak to the Native American without being redundant. Good work! |

| | Re: Native Carving You gave him a nice "aged" look, and I agree with the rest on the character lines you gave in the face. This must be your winter carvings with all these masks your posting. Probably warmer inside this time of year than out buzzing with the saw with the maritime weather we've been having.
