Thank you for posting the nearly finished Napolean. Following the early stages of carving your Napolean gave me great insight into carving in the round and inspired me to take up carving myself.

For the past year I have been wondering what happened to your postings and looking forward to seeing the finished project.

I hope you will post some close ups of the finished Napolean.

Doc,
Live often gives us twist and turns we don't expect. I am very happy this insiped you to carve . It is a pleasure to the spirit to do so. Sadly my time is spread too thin right now , But I will try to be around more than I have been .
today I am traveling 400 miles to do a carving for a family , So to work on my own work comes very rarely today.

Ash

Oh WOW that is nice work there ash. I have to say I am so impressed with the talent on this site. Great detail, can't wait till your completely done. I'm sorry its been hashed over and over, I don't have the time to read entire thread atm, but what all tools do you use? And what's the tally of the work time so far?

Amazing.

It's not the size of the carving, but the size of the knife that counts.... Just some carving political correctness there! Nice piece. Looking forward to the finished product!

Sincerely, Rob Vega (Lazy Carver)
