Default My very first Relief carving!

Hey all!

My heart is nearly done, what do you all think of it so far?
Honest critiques folks, I have pretty thick skin when it comes to artwork

LVNYC,

Great job! Just wondering what the story is behind you choosing this subject. Be interesting to hear. I'd hate to try doing somehing like THAT with my pocket knife! HA! Again, great job!

THANKS!

The heart is an ongoing theme I have with the bulk of my artwork, it connects everything together

Check out my site if ya'd like ->INEFFABLE3.com

I'm currently working on a collection of pieces based on selected song lyric. This piece which I call "The Termites Are At It Again, My Love" is inspired by Termite Song in which Joseph Arthur sings, "...and for my missing heart, I'll carve one out of wood."

I've always loved that one line

Thanks so much!

I'll post more pics when I'm through sanding down the back. It's still pretty rough right now but it'll be coming around shortly.
