Default My Very First Carving

Hi all...

I build decorative bird houses out of old barn wood and I can't seem to find any birds that aren't made out of mushrooms, so I decided to try to make my own. I know it's crude, but at least I have a better idea on how this carving thing works. Although this lil guy taught me a lot, he still needs some work. However, I need to make dinner first. Hmmmm....wonder if my hubby would notice sawdust in the chili? Nah...not with my cooking he won't!

Thanks for the advice everyone.

Kylie

It is not crude....It is simple, clean-lined, delicate and adorable. Way to go!

Hi Kylie,

That's a carving to be proud of. I agree with the others, great job. If this is your first, you're going to get real good.
