Default My latest projects.....

..... a turtle and a caricature i named Mr. Stumpy. The turtle was my first try at power carving, and Mr Stumpy was done with my trusty Case Seahorse Whittler(I used a Black & Decker RTX rotary tool to do the face)

stuff! What wood did you use for the turtle, very nice style and devlopment. Finish on the T? I like the whole concept of that one, especially the shadings and depths on the carapace.

The turtle is basswood, painted with acrylics. after painting with acrylics i dipped it into MInwax Golden Oak stain.

Here's a paperweight spiral and a WIP boot that I did today. I'll post a picture of the finished boot tomorrow, or whenever I get it done
