Default My first project is complete

Just posting my cowboy boot. It was my first carving project in 30 years. I would like to thank Mac, Keith, and Hezzie at Smoky Mountain Woodcarvers (Nawger's Nob) for all their pointers, encouragement, and praise.

If anyone gets out this way, stop in Townsend and say hello to these wonderful people. They always have time for you.

Lol...everything but carving, it seems.

I went to school, established my carreer, got married, raised a family...then I realized something was missing in my life. I needed something to fill that void.

I've been carving since last month.
