Something about the way you carve Mark and the cuts you get etc. Love your style. Neat piece, looking forward to the rest of the project.

Geeze Mark, you are really comming along as a wood carver. I wouldn't be surprised if one day you are as good a carver as me. I see a lot of mistakes, but I won't go into that right now as it would take too long to point them all out. Man, was that ever fun saying all that stuff, and some of the new guys will really believe I mean it. Mark, as usual, nobody carves mountain men and spirits as good as you, great carving.

Nice work Mark. I love your style of faces, I learn from each piece you do.

Mark, Your style and technique leaves the "softest" look/feel to a carving that one seldom sees. Excellent work....

Hi Mark,

I, too, find inspiration from our great carvings. You don't seem to have any problem carving aspen. I'm doing my first aspen stick and having lots of problems with it. But, I am making progress and things are improving. Seeinbg this face on aspen is encouraging.
