Thanks Windsong! As you probably know Tulip Poplar is a lot different than the poplar you find on the Home Depot shelves but it's a favorite of mind for whittling.

eddy smiles , thanks for the info on joining handle to stick,will try it but iam still at a lost on instructions on putting the holes,in the morell mushroom any and all info will be greatly appreciatedd, thanks again mr sticks

Hey Eddy. Trust me, your blood thickens up with time. I was down your neck of the woods last July. 97 is kinda hot for me! Got to admit though, I do hate to "waste" the wood by having to put it into the stove to keep warm!

Thanks Gene... but remember this is a previous post that someone else picked up on. Don't get me wrong....I love the attention and kudos but I sure don't want to take credit where credit isn't really due! .....Especially from guys that I respect like yourself and the other long time members of this forum!
