i love the first one! he's so jolly and I think I have seen him come through our chimney! great stuff and such lovely texture from the cuts!

Thank you Gene and TL, I try but sometimes I just luck in to a good one. Gene, That one can be a Santa, sleepy one or what have you. I have one cut out that will(hopefully) have more of droopy eyelids like he just woke up or trying to go to sleep.
TL, I have carved several Santas but their facial expressions have been more serious than jolly. I lucked in to this one. The little bride wants it to stay home, Daughter wants it, Daughter in law, grandangels want it, Sister in law says she was going to hurt me if I didn't give it to her. Guess, I need to carve several more eh?

No matter if I luck in to a good one or not, I always learn something new from carving. Hey an old dog can learn new tricks for sure.
