Default Mooooooooooo...

I had never made a cow before, but my sister in law needed one STAT! So, I made a set. I am pretty happy with the results. I think I will make another one. The color was done with sharpies, which work awesome!!!

Looks great!!! What wood species do you use to make your hair pins? I am curious.

Thank you! I use Mostly Maple and Oak. This pair is spalted maple. It's almost sublime with its mocha swirls in it. All hardwoods for hair pins. Madrone, manzanita,Locust. You can use anything. Thanx for asking, and for looking!

Well how cute is that!! I loved it! Great job on that, Keoma. Careful of that spalted maple, though....wear a mask when you're carving it. Barnyard animals would be wonderful on those! In face, with your talent, you have an unlimited amount of subjects. Bonnie
