Bubba, nice job on the spoons dude! I too would try to incorporate some of the darker wood perhaps in the handle. Not a criticism at all, just a thought, you're doing great!

Way to go Bubba, using up the scrap pieces to make great little spoons is a fantastic idea. I wonder how many small spoons I threw away.

Steve, I don't mind constructive criticism at all. As a matter of fact, I need it. I would never progress otherwise.
I am always on the lookout to include any natural feature of the wood I am using in my project. Maybe my eye just isn't trained enough to look for it in carving projects because I've been scrolling mostly and just started carving. I definitely understand the concept though. Thanks for the lookout.
