Ash,
That dragon is really coming to life. You are doing a fantastic job on it. I can't wait to see the next steps. I am enjoying following this one.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi All ,
The bottom section is done , and the first coat of sealer is now on the tree. Tomorrow I will look at the carving , see if I need any additional undercuts , see if I missed anything , see if I left something undone. Then put on the finish coats , but wanted to give you all an update and see what you all think.

Ash

Ash,
Your other trees were great, but this is something else! The others were c o o l, this is exceptionally c o o l! I feel like I missed several carvings between there and now...you've stepped way up there! Great job!

TomH, well if it would make him move a bit faster would be well worth the time !

Bob,
Thank you, that means alot to me.

Wade,
You know it is really funny , I have tried to learn a little more from each carving and the walking sticks have been a great help in learning different ways to do things. But when you see so many wonderful beautiful carvings as you can here, there is no need to raise the bar, it is there and all you have to do is open your eyes and push yourself forward. With a bit of luck, and with the Lords help, I will keep pushing myself.

Now if the sun will come and give me good light , I will finish this today , and the next project is already started, can only hope it will work out as well as this has.

Ash

Another very warm day , so the finished dried quickly and I was able to finish, since it is calling for rain the next two days , I was glad to finish before it started.
Anyway , Thor will do the pic thing as soon as the weather clears but until then the finished dragon is in the gallery.

Ash
