| | little trees done Well last Friday the large trees went on their way,,just had to finish these little ones for the same kitchen. These go on each side of a farm style sink on the base cabinet. These also are in Cherry,,and the leaves are pretty small,,average between 3/8ths to 1/2 inch in length. Glad to have this one done..now on to the next! |

| | Re: little trees done The fact that they are carved in Cherry is even more impressive. I have tried and failed cherry wood. That stuff is hard.
Beautiful trees, Mark. I can't imagine doing dishes with them on either side of the sink. That kitchen sure is going to be an atmosphere worth cooking in.
Thanks for showing them to us.

| | Re: little trees done Mark .. Absolutely beautiful .. That cherry wood is beautiful and I have heard how hard it is to carve ..
Your bigger piece was wonderful and this is just the icing on the cake .. I love the way you made everything so poportional ....
The leaves are so realistic and the cherry wood just brings out the beauty of the piece ...
This is definately masterful work Mark and Thank you so much for sharing it with us .. The only drawback is we cant see it in person .. What a fortunate buyer you have that can display that in their home .. WOW !
Great ..
Gene

| | Re: little trees done Mark...exquisite! I can't imagine what it takes to do the leaves alone....it would take me forever, even if I could! So real, and the depth you achieve makes it so realistic. Simply beautiful. I envy the owner of these pieces. Bonnie |

| | Re: little trees done Beautiful work Mark! Cherry is such a nice wood to carve and is so great holding detail. The beauty of the wood when finished is worth the little extra effort in the carving. Those leaves turned out super, a lot of time spent there! Well done!
