Default Little Rabbit

The canvas on the patio umbrella finally tore so we got a new one. The ribs are some kind of hardwood, not very hard and grainy. So I saved the wood and carved this little 2" rabbit. A friend wants me to carve one for her and drill a hole in the bottom so she can put it on the end of her pen.

Nice looking bunny Ron I may try and do one similar. I have some small pieces of wood like that and fits your discription. You think maybe a low grade butternut or mahogany. (just a guess)

Jim, I'm not sure what kind of wood it is but it seems like a cheap Mahogany.

Very cute Ron, a keeper for sure. Kudos to you for saving something as common as an umbrella support. Joe.

Hi Ron, Surprising what a piece of found wood can do for your imagination. Good job my friend. Merle
