Default little more work needs to be done

here are a few shots of a Bishop roughout I am working on. Designed by Phil Bishop. Called Dusty.Haven't figured out the smirk on his face. Maybe he broke wind or peed his breeches.
Critique, comments are welcomed.

So far Ken .. It looks like it's going to be a great looking carving ..
I really like the way your doing the face .. very somber expression ..

Looks like a old weathered cowboy ...

He does appear to be enjoying the smell of something, doesn't he?

Maybe smooth out those wrinkle lines on the front of his jacket. That's about all I can see that stands out as needing work yet.

kenny,

good work on the cowboy, a freind of mine carved this same cowboy in a bishop class and added a earring to his ear since his head was cocked to one side it kinda looked like he was showing a new earring.

good work thanks for sharing

I like him too, Kenny--he shows lots of character attitude. Hope you and family are safe from all those tornado's in Kansas.

I gotta agree 100% with Charlotte on this one! Ms Smile

Out of respect for an "awesome-free zone", I'd say your work demonstrates extreme talent, skill, and whimsy!
