Thanks to all that have looked and made comment on my two little carvings. I normally wouldn't post till they are finished but thought I had better participate or everyone would think I was a slacker. Nice to hear from you all.

Glad to hear that all is well and that you have regained your mobility again, as for the steps, just remember that there is no job that can't support at least one superviser LOL

John, yes that is a little wood burning on some of the fine detail, do you think it takes away from the carving itself? I'm sure on a little guy that small I could never carve a belt or belt buckle so I burnt them in. It should look OK when painted.

Not at all Cliff, i think the wood burning touch is nice, The dog looks like a Gene`s Youtube video and you did a nice job on that also.
