Wade has more photos on his computer that he's wanting to post, but this will at least begin the process of showing you his new barn. He has been working on getting things set up for the last few weeks...........

That's a great looking barn. I hope we get to see some interior shots.

Is Wade going to have his carving workshop in there?

Hi!
Yes, it's at our Tennessee home. I'll try to post more pictures tomorrow. It's 36x60 downstairs and a full loft upstairs of 24x60. It will be my carving studio once I get organized, wire it and finish some concrete.

Great barn Wade!
I can see why you've been busy.
Tennessee is obviously agreeing with you and your wife.

Hi Thor,
Thanks! The barn still needs concrete floor (part of floor is already done in wood) and wiring. Then I can unpack and hopefully start carving!
Tennessee is keeping us busy. We still do 2 Auctions a month in FL, plus we're doing 3 Auctions a WEEK in TN! There is an Amish Produce Auction about 2 miles from our house and I'm their Auctioneer. Plus we've planted a vineyard, 75 vines now, 60 more ordered and growing. The vineyard supports my other hobby, winemaking.
How is your new place coming along? Have you sold in GA? Do you still have your next place picked out? I sure wish you the best with it all!

Well, my story kind of took a hard right. We have gotten all of the college age kids moved out and into their own places, and strangely enough, Georgia looks pretty good now. We had "no" offers on our place here while we had it on the market, and now, we are back to our plan A and staying on the property to build a smaller house, and sell the big one with an acre of land. That will leave us plenty of room, a smaller house to maintain, we won't have to move far, the kids are all still in Georgia (we didn't know where they would be before), and we still have our studios, and business. The adventure of new and different has to be put off for awhile, but hopefully, this will allow us to travel more once we're all set up again.
I really wish I was able to go to more carving shows and seminars at this point.
Enough said, but that's where we stand. I envy your new adventure, but we are happy here at home afterall.

I know you're anxious to carve again. Glad the auction business is going well for you in TN.
Thor

Hey Wade,
Neat Barn/shop! Where is your new place in Tenn? I just live 30 miles south of the Tenn / AL border in Decatur. If it's not too far I might come and visit ya sometime.

Gary,
Hi! I'm in Ethridge, near Lawrenceburg, South of Columbia, TN about 25 miles. About 30 North of Florence, AL.
I think we go past Decatur, AL on our way back and forth from Florida. You might be 75 miles from here, give or take. If you don't make it up here, maybe I can catch up with you on my way through. The problem is, though, that when I come through I'm on a 470 mile one-day trip, scooting right along!
It'd be good to meet you! You're certainly invited to come by! If it's a Monday, Wednesday or Friday I'll take you to the Amish Auction and send you home with a pick-up load of produce!
Wade
