Stave - I keep coming back here to look and study some more. That's really a fine piece of work for a fine cause ... I'm glad it's there.

I certainly appreciate all the kind comments. I thoroughly enjoyed the work and I think that is what shows, it was the product of numerous experiments coming together all at once. I normally to not paint my pieces but made an exception with this one. Here is a photo of it almost finished and in its natural state.

I understand how hard it might have been to paint that one, because it looked really good before the color was added.
Color is such a stimulant to the brain, that I imagine the color made it a much better one in it's location.
Ambitious project for sure. Nice to think of one's work being useful for those in need.

I hope we'll see more of your work soon.
