Hi, all. Thought I'd share the spoon I'm just finishing. It's from a 13/16" board of slightly spalted cherry. It's about 13 inches long, and 3 inches wide. Hope you like it. Any feedback welcome!

Another beautifully designed lovespoon exquisitely carved. I really like the slight art nouveau styling of the knot-work. I like crisp ribbon-like knot-work as a rule but the gently swelling and diminishing forms that you have used and the way they are subtly filleted to the sides of the heart I find just as attractive. As others have noted, it has the elegant delicacy of form that characterises your work. |

Thanks, all! Actually, I think this may be one of my own favorites. David, I've typically always done even knotwork, too - but the varying thickness of the knotwork on the upper two parts of this one is definitely an influence from David Western.
