Default Kokopelli's

This is a practice project ( sounds really professional ) For Ron, this a pair of stylized Kokapelli mounted on a slab of juniper. One standing erect, one bent over on one foot in mid step, both playing flutes. I wanted to do this in walnut but figured a practice pair would be in order, this is the result I want to add a fire and possibly a wolf by the fire. This it so far. I redrew a sketch from Don Burgdorf for the patterns. Arnie

Arnie, nice work on a pair of really delicate figures. I have always admired them and you have shown them really well.

Neat little characters. I wouldn't call them practice pieces though - too good. Look forward to viewing the full scene.

Thanks guys, Claude suggested via pm I use a coyote vice a wolf (thank you claude for the sugg.) Trust me when I say If I carve a wolf for the scene it will probably look like a mangy coyote. I recently finished an eagle everyone thinks it's a parrot LOL. Arnie

Hi arnie, I like your stylized Kokapelli carving and I like your additional ideas on adding other elements. Looking forward to watching this one progress.
